Spirit of the Great Bear by Jack Plant

Vancouver Photography Exhibition & Book Signing

Join wildlife photographer and author Jack Plant at Karen Cooper Gallery in Vancouver for a special exhibition and book signing celebrating the launch of his award-winning photography book, Spirit of the Great Bear.

For more than a decade, Jack has travelled deep into British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest, documenting its extraordinary wildlife, ancient forests, and the remarkable relationship between the land and the Indigenous communities who have called it home for thousands of years.

This exhibition brings together a selection of Jack's fine art wildlife photography, including intimate portraits of the elusive white spirit bear, grizzlies, and other remarkable inhabitants of one of the world's last great temperate rainforests.

Meet the Photographer

Guests are invited to meet Jack in person, hear the stories behind his photographs, ask questions, and learn more about the experiences that shaped his work.

Signed copies of Spirit of the Great Bear, featuring a foreword by renowned photographer Paul Nicklen and an afterword by Kitasoo Xai'xais Chief Doug Neasloss, will be available for purchase.
